Andlauer Speaks on Tkachuk, What's Next in OTT, & Wild Predictions ft. Brent Wallace & Carter Meyer

On today’s episode of The Sheet, Jeff Marek is joined by Brent Wallace to break down a massive summer of change for the Ottawa Senators following the departure of Brady Tkachuk. Wallace gives his assessment of how the Senators look without their former captain, what he expects from Ottawa this weekend, how the team moves forward after losing one of the faces of the franchise, and Michael Andlauer’s recent comments surrounding Tkachuk’s departure. After Brent leaves, Jeff turns things over to the chat for some wild NHL predictions, reacting to bold calls for the upcoming season, debating which ones could actually happen, and sharing his thoughts on some of the biggest storylines around the league. Later, Carter Meyer joins the show after leaving the U.S. National Team Development Program to join the Quebec Remparts before eventually heading to Boston College. Meyer discusses his decision to make the jump to the QMJHL, why Quebec was the right destination, what he hopes to gain from playing for the Remparts, and how the move fits into the next stage of his hockey career.
