Much of what we call science fiction is not too far removed not only from science, but from dark magic. We wonder if artificial intelligence is a greater threat than nuclear weapons, or if the latter helped to awaken the former. Perhaps AI is not a threat but some in power wish you to believe such a thing in order to coerce your obedience.
