Bruce McAvaney, Sam Pang, Billy Nearly Costs Us Our License - The Rush Hour podcast - Wednesday 1st July 2026

JB and Billy are having a little spell, so we're reliving our favourite moments from 2026.

We revisit when Billy and Rabsy turned up on JB's doorstep in Port Fairy, then hear the boys' chat with Sam Pang - who had just announced he wasn't hosting the Logies anymore.

The boys continue reminiscing about The Footy Show - this time, the chaotic segment that was Big Bill's House. Then we hear Billy's new segment that skated dangerously close to the inappropes line.

We remember when Billy had a complete meltdown and nearly cost us our license, and when the boys chatted to the legendary Bruce McAvaney.

We look back at Billy's segments that only got one run, then Topics Brownless asks a question nobody else would dare to.

Finally, Billy tells a joke with a little help from a Sesame Street character.
