With the 2025 Reboot having its premiere this week, the Roxy & Coy are BACK for I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis & Full Spoiler Review!! Roxy Striar and Coy Jandreau dive into the sun-drenched horror of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), the chilling slasher sequel to the 1997 hit. Directed by Danny Cannon, the film follows Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ghost Whisperer, Party of Five) as she tries to move on from the terrifying events of the first movie—only to find that the hook-wielding killer is still haunting her life. When Julie and her best friend Karla (Brandy, Moesha, Cinderella) win an all-expenses-paid trip to a secluded island resort, the vacation quickly spirals into another blood-soaked nightmare. Returning alongside Julie is Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr., She’s All That, Scooby-Doo), who suspects the contest is a setup. New faces include Karla’s boyfriend Tyrell (Mekhi Phifer, 8 Mile, Dawn of the Dead), the creepy resort manager Mr. Brooks (Jeffrey Combs, Re-Animator), the oddball porter Estes (John Hawkes, Winter’s Bone, Deadwood), and Jack Black (School of Rock, Jumanji) in a stoner cameo that’s become a cult favorite. Muse Watson (NCIS, Prison Break) returns as the menacing Ben Willis, seeking revenge for his past. This sequel features several highly searched and infamous scenes, including the stormy resort massacre, the tanning bed suspense sequence, and Julie’s iconic "I will survive!" scream. With tropical isolation, rising body counts, and a twist ending, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer amps up the slasher stakes while revisiting the trauma of its predecessor.
