His son Ted has joined the practice and is going to succeed Garrett in the long term. On today's show we are talking about some of the new legislation at the state level that will affect investors. So far only New York has enacted its own corporate transparency act. But there are other states that are considering it. The result could be a complex patchwork of regulations that will make compliance much more complicated than a single federal statute.
