PDB Afternoon Bulletin | October 20th, 2026: British Fighter Jets Enter the Fight Against The Houthis & China Sends Bombers Toward Taiwan

In this episode of The PDB Afternoon Bulletin:

• First up—Britain is deploying RAF fighter jets to defend Saudi Arabia against escalating Houthi missile and drone attacks. The move comes as a devastating Houthi strike kills at least 73 soldiers in Yemen, raising questions about how deeply Western powers could become involved in the growing conflict.

• Later in the show—Nearly 60,000 American and Japanese troops launch major military exercises near Taiwan, deploying advanced anti-ship missiles and air-defense systems. The drills come as China expands its maritime patrols and sends nuclear-capable bombers toward the island, increasing tensions in the region.
