May 30th, 2022. The Memorial Day Brief.

It’s May 30th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. I’m your host and former CIA Officer Bryan Dean Wright. Your morning intel starts now. Friends, it’s a very busy time these days — for news, for all of our hectic lives — but for a moment we pause for Memorial Day to commemorate those who died in military service for the United States. As we honor those men and women, I’d like to tell you a story about a man who wore the uniform — for the US Army — and then later served as a CIA Officer. His name is Douglas Seymour MacKiernan. And he’s the very first CIA officer to die in the line of duty. Up next on the President's Daily Brief. ------ Please remember to subscribe if you enjoyed this episode of the President's Daily Brief.
