TRUTH: Suck Tax is REAL–Florida State's Administration Will FAIL Again

The Florida State Seminoles face the harsh reality of the "suck tax"—programs suffering a losing cycle must pay top transfer and high school recruits a premium to rebuild. This podcast explains why portal targets demand 20-40% more just to consider FSU, while Rivals like Miami and Florida add talent for less. The concept puts the pressure on Florida State’s administration and fans to recognize the true cost of underperformance.

The conversation focused on the financial and reputational challenges facing struggling programs, using Mike Norvell’s massive buyout, recent recruiting setbacks, and the pivotal role of administration leadership as key examples. A key theme that emerged was how efforts to create a “perception of progress” may not be enough to keep top talent or satisfy Seminoles boosters and supporters. Will firing the head coach be the only way out? Locked On Seminoles breaks down the numbers, the stakes, and the tough road ahead.
