STAR POWER: Texas Adds 5-Star John Meredith & Tyler Alexander, SEC Recruiting Rankings

The SEC recruiting races heat up, with Texas adding multiple big-time commitments, including elite cornerback John Meredith, while the Longhorns’ rival, the Texas A&M Aggies, continuing their build of the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class. LSU makes a major push to join the top 10 classes in the land, and there’s a bevy of activity across the league.

Host Chris Gordy and recruiting analyst Brian Smith break down the most significant SEC commitments, surprising flips like Auburn running back Kingston Miles to Mizzou, and the growing NIL war shaping the conference’s future. They highlight rising programs—including Florida’s trench-focused class and Eli Drinkwitz’s Missouri transformation—while sounding alarms over Alabama’s post-Saban struggles, with the Crimson Tide ranked dead last in SEC recruiting. Which undecided stars could shift the balance before signing day, and can Alabama recover?
