We still think Schwarber will re-sign with the Phillies, but right now his agency is trying to maximize his value -- as they should. That means drawn-out negotiations, and maybe even a little frustration on the Phillies’ end. It’s rally no surprise. Schwarber had a massive 2025, leading the NL in home runs and RBIs and finishing second for NL MVP. He needs to cash in on this deal.
