The Patrick Madrid Show: August 06, 2024 - Hour 2

Patrick delves into compelling conversations about equality, equity, and the economic challenges facing younger generations. Patrick explores diverse perspectives and the importance of kindness, hard work, and the enduring quest for equal opportunity in our society. Kamala Harris is asked a simple question on how she will fix inflation (02:18) Kamala Harris - "Equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place." (04:36) Ricardo – Equity isn’t giving material and status to those who don’t have it. It levels the playing field at the bottom, not the top. It’s making everyone equal with nothing. (15:37) Ann (email) – What would you say to someone who supports Harris’ comments on equity? (21:03) Heidi - I think Kamala Harris is a Marxist. It sounds nice, but it demotivates people. (24:39) Chrystal - I am a black woman and feel like I’m oppressed. I think I am disadvantaged. Non-black people can't see it. (28:41) Alex - I don’t think it is easy to pull yourself up by your boot straps. I've done a lot of odd jobs and it hasn't been easy. (37:51) Eric - My wife and I are coming into the Church today! We appreciate you helping us. (48:20)
