The Best of The Odd Couple

On today's edition of the Best of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and guest host Martin Weiss react to James Harden’s decision to opt-in to his contract with the 76ers in order to seek a trade to another team. Yankees MLB.com reporter and author Bryan Hoch joins the show to recap Yankees pitcher Domingo German’s historic perfect game, his new book 62: Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees and the Pursuit of Greatness (out July 11th), how Aaron Judge’s injury shows his true value to the team and Shohei Ohtani’s case for MVP in 2023! Plus, Chris and Martin talk about how James Harden’s recent trade request is a bad look for the superstar guard. Chris doesn’t understand why Harden is always running from a challenge, and in this case, is running from trying to team up again with MVP Joel Embiid.
