Hour 1 – Lamar Jackson Secures the Bag, the Harsh Reality for Giannis + Former NFL Scout Brentley Weissman

Chris and Rob tell us why they’re happy that Lamar Jackson was able to secure a long-term contract with the Baltimore Ravens – even if it wasn’t the fully-guaranteed deal he was looking for, explain why they took some umbrage with Giannis Antetokounmpo saying the Milwaukee Bucks season was not a failure even after they got bounced in the first round by the eight-seeded Miami Heat, share their thoughts on the idea that teams should wait until the 2024 NFL Draft to take their franchise quarterback rather than reaching for a less talented player in 2023 and take a trip out to Shekel City for Rob’s nightly bets. Plus, former NFL scout and The Draft Network analyst Brentley Weissman swings by to discuss CJ Stroud’s suddenly sinking draft stock, how Bryce Young’s lack of size translates to the NFL, why some teams value potential over production for guys like Anthony Richardson and Will Levis, which alleged second-tier prospects could pay off big in the NFL and much more!
