TRAGIC HOLLYWOOD: Rebecca Schaeffer

Rebecca Schaeffer was a rising Hollywood star with a promising career ahead of her when her life was cut tragically short at just 21 years old. We're joined by Chrissy from Residue podcast as we look back at Rebecca’s life and career, the obsessive stalking that led to her murder, and how her death exposed frightening gaps in privacy and stalking laws and ultimately helped change them. If you or someone you know is experiencing stalking or harassment, help is available. The Stalking Prevention, Awareness & Resource Center (SPARC) offers safety-planning tools and information, and VictimConnect Resource Center can connect victims with confidential local resources by call or text at 1-855-4-VICTIM (1-855-484-2846).
