Perry Seibert ~ Talking Pictures - "The Life of Chuck"

June 27, 2025 ~ Lucy Ann Lance is joined weekly by Perry Seibert from the Michigan Movies Critics Guild for Talking Pictures! Perry reviews "The Life of Chuck", a Stephen King adaptation directed by Mike Flanagan. Perry notes it’s not a horror movie, but an attempt to capture a man’s life, highlighted by two extended dance sequences. While he appreciates the film’s ambition, Perry critiques its confusing beginning and reliance on Nick Offerman’s voiceover, but ultimately recommends seeing it for its special moments.
