May 7, 2026 ~ Lucy Ann Lance is joined by Brinda Ganesan, Vice President of Therapaws Michigan for this week's Community Cares where we shine the spotlight on deserved non-profits that make our community a better place. Ann Arbor City Council declared April 20, 2026 Therapaws of Mi Day to celebrate Therapaws' 25th anniversary as a non-profit. This all-volunteer organization was established in 1988 and incorporated in 2001, providing canine-assisted therapy in more than 40 settings such as hospitals and libraries.
