Who Is the Real Reason the Browns Are 5-2?

Anthony Lima and Nick Pedone each give their one-answer explanation for the Browns’ 5-2 start. Pedone credits hiring the right head coach in Todd Monken, while Lima points to the goal line stand as the team’s identity, and later argues Deshaun Watson’s turnover-free football and Monken’s obvious, complementary play calling matter most despite the poor advanced metrics. A Nashville caller says Andrew Berry’s back-to-back drafts are the real reason, which sparks a debate about the risky Watson restructures and whether young pass catchers like Harold Fannin give fans hope even if the quarterback fades.
