Was the Cavs’ Overtime Win Kenny Atkinson’s Biggest Regular Season Win?

Ken Carman and Anthony Lima break down the Cavs’ overtime win over the Timberwolves, with Ken calling it one of the biggest regular season wins of Kenny Atkinson’s tenure and arguing a loss would have changed the whole conversation around the coach. They react to Donovan Mitchell saying the team rode Meleek Thomas’ coattails and to the rookie’s “can’t keep a star in the closet” quote, plus Atkinson’s gut feeling to finally play him. The conversation covers Peyton Watson’s defense and the speed Thomas and Watson bring in transition, which was missing in last year’s playoffs.
