Ken Wants Patience for Rutenberg's Defense, But Owen Isn't Buying It

Ken argues for patience with first-year defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg after a rough season-opening loss, pointing to blocking and tackling breakdowns as an NFL-wide trend and citing Jim Schwartz's own shaky early years as a comparison. Owen pushes back, unwilling to give the defense a mulligan, while both agree the offensive line held up better than expected behind a first-time head coach and a shaky quarterback situation ahead of Sunday's game against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers.
