Daryl Ruiter Says Deshaun Watson Could Force the Browns' Hand on a Deal

Browns beat reporter Daryl Ruiter joins Ken and Lima to call the 3-1 Browns resilient, saying Deshaun Watson is a roller coaster who keeps finding a way when it matters, and that his play could put the team in a tricky spot on a contract extension. He is unsure the franchise tag is even an option, and floats a short Baker Mayfield style deal as a middle ground. They also praise the five-sack defensive effort and Mike Hall's return from the cart, defend Jared Verse's impact without the sacks, and say Andre Szmyt is giving Phil Dawson vibes.
