BONUS - Real vs Fake - Microwaving Forks for Superpowers?!

A TikTok trend convinced teens to microwave cutlery to “unlock hidden powers”… and yes, it really happened. This week’s Real News or Fake News is packed with stories so wild, it’s hard to believe they aren’t all made up. From a broccoli snake adoption in Australia to a viral fake dating app based on shared hatred, the team tries to separate truth from fiction—and ends up creating a few headlines of their own.

Featured Headlines:

• Teens microwave metal to gain powers (real)

• Netflix launches "Napflix" for boring background shows (fake)

• Woman finds deadly snake in broccoli, keeps it as pet (real – Australia, of course)

• New dating app matches people based on shared hates (fake... for now)

Turns out, the internet will believe anything—including a Bezos pet delivery service.
