Pope Apolgises For Christian Barbarity _ Doctrine of Discovery Disowned _ One More Deception

Church ordained the Doctrine of Discovery in the 15th century. It meant that anything that a Christian set his eyes upon, i.e. discovered, became his - be it land, property or humans. This gave rise to untold barbarities against ancient civilisations like the Mayas, Incas, Aztecs and American Indians. It also sanctified slave trade. The Pope has now repudiated the doctrine.
