Jauhar - Saka - History from Chittor | Omendra Ratnu, Dr Rajat Mitra and Sanjay Dixit

25th February 1568 was the day of the 3rd Jauhar-Saka of Chittor. (The first two were because of Alauddin Khilji and Bahadur Shah of Gujarat). Dr. Omendra Ratnu performed a special puja for the punyatmas - 10,000 women performed Jauhar, and another 30,000 were slaughtered by the apostle of tolerance, Akbar.
