143: Star Wars Battlefront 2, Super Mario Odyssey and Video Game Difficulty

In this episode, we play Star Wars Battlefront 2 and discuss our first impressions with the beta. Is it the game we've all been waiting for? Devan finally gets his hands on Project Octopath Traveler and loves it. In our gaming news, we talk about the new Super Mario Odyssey trailer, Destiny 2 new updates, Stardew Valley and Master Chief. Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is also doing a special event today, if you buy their game they'll donate the proceeds to charity for World Mental Health Day. Finally, our discussion this week is on the evolution of video game difficulty. When games first arrived, there was no tutorial or ways to change the difficulty setting. How did that evolve over time? We also explore what games should have difficulty settings and which ones should let you fail. What game has the best tutorial for you?
