Inside Katie Taylor’s estimated $20m fortune, and the six figure deal she turned down

Katie Taylor has spent 25 years making boxing history.  This weekend, she will also make a fortune.

The Bray boxer was just 15 when she won her first competitive fight. Now, after Olympic gold, world titles and a career that transformed women’s boxing, she is preparing for one final contest, in the one venue that has always eluded her: a sold-out Croke Park.

So, how big will Taylor’s final payday be? And as the curtain comes down, just how much is Ireland’s greatest boxer worth?

Today on The Indo Daily, Katie Bryne is joined by senior features writer John Meagher to count the cost of Katie Taylor’s extraordinary career and look ahead to her last dance on her biggest stage yet.
