In the first paper the authors cover aspects from mean disease activity scores after tapering to radiographic outcomes and safety, to help ascertain whether it is possible to withdraw MTX while maintaining disease control. The second paper then goes on to also analyse MTX withdrawal data, but this time to evaluate the performance of disease activity metrics.
