F-O-R-E Minute Friday: The Secret to Finding Your Perfect Swing Tempo

What is the secret to a great golf swing? It’s not swing speed—it’s tempo.

If you’ve ever wondered why your golf swing feels rushed, why your driving range swing doesn’t translate to the course, or why you keep battling a violent slice, your tempo is likely to blame. In this episode of FORE Minute Friday, Top 100 Golf Coach Daniel Guest breaks down the true definition of golf swing tempo and why the common advice to "swing slow" is actually ruining your ball striking.

In this quick, 4-minute episode, you will learn:

• What Golf Swing Tempo Actually Is: Hint: It’s about the ratio of your backswing to your downswing, not the overall speed of the club.
• The Magic 3:1 Ratio: Why the greatest ball strikers in history (from Tiger Woods to Rory McIlroy) all share the exact same swing timing.
• How to Find Your Rhythm: Daniel shares 3 actionable, non-technical drills—including the 3-to-1 Count and the Feet-Together Drill—that you can use this weekend to instantly fix your transition.

Stop worrying about perfect textbook mechanics and start finding a rhythm you can trust on the first tee.
