House Democrats have introduced new legislation to create a commission to evaluate whether President Trump should be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. The proposal, led by New York Congressman Jamie Raskin, would establish a 17-member panel to assess whether the president is fit to carry out his duties. The Senate on Wednesday once again blocked a war powers resolution to restrain President Trump’s military action in Iran. This is the fourth time that Senate Republicans have blocked an attempt to limit Trump’s Iran war powers.
