What Came Home from the Old Jail? | After Midnight

He never believed ghost tours were anything more than good storytelling.

When he and his wife signed up for one during a weekend getaway, they expected an evening filled with local history, old legends, and maybe a few laughs before heading back to their hotel. Instead, one strange moment inside a centuries-old jail left him with a feeling he couldn't quite explain.

He put it out of his mind.

Until, nearly a week after returning home, someone began walking the hallway outside their bedroom.

The footsteps always followed the same path. They always stopped outside the bedroom door. And no matter how many times they searched the house, there was never anyone there.

Did something simply spark their imagination... or did the ghost tour bring home more than just a memory?
