The Haunted 1861 Masonic Lodge, Part One | Grave Talks CLASSIC

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

When Jill Shelly, owner of the infamous Boyd House, finds a new haunted property, the spirits don’t take long to introduce themselves. Her latest acquisition—the 1861 Masonic Lodge in Keithsburg, Illinois—carries a history as layered as its walls. Once a gathering place for Freemasons, it later served as a hotel and, some say, a brothel. Now, it’s home to voices, shadows, and unexplained energy that refuses to rest.

Jill returns to share the chilling discoveries within the lodge: EVPs of unseen children, shadow figures slipping through hallways, and rooms heavy with an atmosphere of secrecy. Are these lingering guests trying to communicate—or simply reminding the living that this was once their domain?

From sacred rituals to restless hauntings, the 1861 Lodge is more than just another property—it’s a portal into America’s hidden past.
