The Footsteps at the Pfister | Real Ghost Stories

They came to Milwaukee for a wedding, not a ghost hunt, and neither of them knew the Pfister Hotel had a haunted reputation.

But two nights in a row, strange footsteps moved through their room while they slept. Each assumed the other had gotten out of bed—until Sunday morning, when they discovered they had both heard the same thing.

Then a clutch left on the desk somehow ended up across the room.

It wasn’t until checkout that someone mentioned the hotel’s paranormal history. A quick search revealed stories eerily similar to their own, including guests who claimed to hear unexplained footsteps and find belongings moved.

So who—or what—had been walking around their room?
