Kevin Jones, Founder and CEO of 1Claw, says an AI agent should get permission to perform a specific action, never the master key to the credentials behind it. 1Claw sits between the agent and the resource, verifying the agent's identity, applying security policies and routing signing requests through a protected mechanism, with HSM-backed vaults, per-agent spending limits and an enclave proxy that screens model traffic for prompt injection. It signs transactions across more than 109 EVM chains as well as Bitcoin, Solana, XRP, Cardano and Tron. It has announced integrations with Bankr, Google Cloud, Circle, Tenderly, Coder and XRPL. The conversation cites CrowdStrike's fastest recorded breakout of 27 seconds and the $1.5 billion Bybit theft as reasons security cannot depend on humans reacting in time. Revocation cuts an agent off from protected credentials, but accountability for what the agent already did stays with the company that deployed it.
