July 22, 2023 | #2329 - King David, Part 1 (The Shepherd)

Why was David, the king of Israel, known as “the man after God’s own heart”? From shepherd boy to shepherd king, David’s life provides a wealth of lessons for us to learn and reflect upon. This week Chris opens up a series on David to show how he used his experience guiding and protecting sheep to guide and protect the Israelites in battle and as their king. And don’t miss the connection between this king and the Son of David, Jesus, our Good Shepherd!
