Evening Edition: America 250 Interactive Treasure Hunt Begins

A national educational initiative celebrating America’s 250th anniversary has begun with what organizers call the largest treasure hunt in U.S. history. The '250 Days for 250 Years Foundation' has launched an interactive nationwide heritage program that combines location-based challenges, historical discovery missions and community engagement activities across all states through a free web application accessible to all Americans. The app uses GPS to send players to local historical landmarks. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Rabbi Andrew Shaw, Chief Executive of Mizrachi UK, who explains it was his great respect and admiration for the United States, and those all involved, that has fueled this project.
