Akin Ayodele: Never Defeated

Miami Dolphins Tales From The Deep Akin Ayodele’s journey to the National Football League was anything but easy. The Dallas, Texas native overcame a multitude of obstacles to become a three-time All-Big Ten performer for Purdue University on his way to finishing second on the Boilermakers all-time sack list with 29 in just three seasons. A third-round draft choice by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ayodele played nine NFL seasons at linebacker, including 2008 and 2009 with the Miami Dolphins. Ayodele retired following the 2010 season and has been every bit as impactful in corporate America, in the community through his Dreambuilders Foundation, and most importantly, at home with his wife and daughters.
