The Final Word with Wil Anderson

Season 5, Ep 16: It's hard growing up in Gippsland with a country cricket legend for a dad. But Australian comedian Wil Anderson still adores the game regardless, a feeling that has only been strengthened by years in distant countries. Mainly because the timezones are good for cable. Wil joins the Final Word to talk about life on the road, keeping safe what you love, when cricket becomes an affair, and how Matthew Hayden felt about a certain cover song. Adam and Geoff also go through Australia's ODI series win over Pakistan, happenings in the IPL, England's response to the Buttler-Ashwin run-out, and have time for a bumper round of Nerd Pledge, the new game invented by subscribers on the Patreon page: patreon.com/thefinalword The Final Word Cricket Podcast is produced by Bad Producer Productions.
