India's deepening disaster, with Karunya Keshav

Season 10, Ep 1: This week Karunya Keshav wrote fiercely about the deafness of the Indian Premier League to the suffering outside its gates. She joins the show to explain the humanitarian disaster that has overtaken India during the biggest covid wave the world has seen. This starts a new season of The Final Word, with the southern summer belatedly concluded in April, and the northern season already in full but chilly swing. We also cover the new Australian contract list, the removal of England selector Ed Smith, the highlights of the county championship, women's cricket at the Comm Games, Sri Lanka's Test against Bangladesh, and a very special round of Happy Birthday Sachin.
