Yesavage Moving Up + Jays Prospect Evaluation

Ben and Brent kick off this morning following a Blue Jays off-day breaking down some news in the system. Toronto is promoting their top prospect, pitcher Trey Yesavage, to Triple-A ahead of his next appearance. The hosts talk about how this move brings him one step closer to being an option for the big club down the stretch. They dive into what an exciting prospect he’s become, especially after only being drafted one year ago. B&B also debate if their trust in this front office’s prospect evaluation has changed this season. In the back half of the hour, the morning duo dissect some stories from the hockey world including an interview from the Tkachuk family. They also chat about how Connor McDavid and his wife joined Leon Draisaitl and his new bride’s honeymoon with them, and if that tells us anything about an impending extension for Connor in Edmonton.
