The Bright Side of a Blue Jays Loss

Ben Ennis returns to the show alongside Brent Gunning. They start with thoughts on the Blue Jays’ loss last night to the Cubs. Since the Red Sox lost as well and Kevin Gausman went seven strong innings, does that make it easier to accept the defeat? The hosts get into the stellar performance by Chicago’s starter, Cade Horton, who Toronto had the opportunity to draft. Speaking of the Cubs, they dive deeper into Kyle Tucker’s season and how much teams will be interested in him this offseason when he hits free agency. Later, B&B get into Taylor Swift’s appearance on the Kelce brothers’ podcast New Heights , along with the noise surrounding Rory McIlroy’s comments about being a playing captain at the Ryder Cup.
