State of Junior Hockey + MLB Salaries

Daniele and Brent continue into the second hour talking about Gavin McKenna’s commitment to play with the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2026. The hosts focus on the changing landscape of junior hockey due to the partnership between the CHL and NCAA, the draw of NIL money, and how more players could choose to go the NCAA route moving forward. Later, MLB Network insider Jon Morosi (23:30) joins the show to give his thoughts on this past week’s MLB All-Star festivities, the talk surrounding a possible league salary cap, and how the league can optimize their contracts.
