Scherzer & Springer Lead an Impressive Jays Bounce-Back Win

Brent Gunning and Sam McKee are back for a midweek edition of The FAN Morning Show! The hosts start with thoughts on an impressive bounce-back win for the Blue Jays in Pittsburgh led by George Springer and Max Scherzer. The pair dive deeper into both players' resurgences in 2025 and ponder where the team would be without them. They examine Mad Max's recent stretch of quality starts and debate if he’s the ace of the staff at the moment (at least until Shane Bieber’s debut Friday). The pair also touch on Alejandro Kirk and his continued importance to the team playing winning baseball. In the back end of the hour, the guys review the new Dallas Cowboys documentary that released yesterday and dig into football in the ‘90s, before offering their take on how to fix the PGA Tour Playoffs and Championship. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
