Ready for the NHL First Round + Blue Jays' Beginnings

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning dive into the final hour of today's show focused on the Stanley Cup playoff pairings. Luke Gazdic, former NHLer and current Sportsnet analyst, joins the guys to discuss the marquee matchups to watch and the carnage that could unravel following the first round. Luke also chats about the health of the Oilers, the pressure on the Maple Leafs, and who will survive the 'Battle of the Sunshine State'. To end the show, the hosts check in with Adnan Virk (22:35) of MLB Network and Amazon Prime Monday Night Hockey. After reminiscing about past ‘Battles of Ontario’, the three get into the Blue Jays' start to the season, the fan perception early on, and why this start instills hope that Toronto can contend for a playoff spot.
