Rantanen + Vlad Jr. Fallout

The FAN Morning Show hits its final hour of Wednesday with Brent Gunning and Daniele Franceschi diving into a few player situations across a couple sports. First up, the hosts get into what happened with Mikko Rantanen in Carolina with SN590’s own Mike Futa. Futes weighs in on this peculiar situation, as well as the ramifications it could have on Mitch Marner’s future in Toronto. In the back half, B&D spend some more time on the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. contract talks and the money he wanted. For more on this, the duo check in with Postmedia’s Rob Longley (32:12) of the Toronto Sun down in Dunedin. The trio go over the new information that has circulated after the slugger's supposed deadline passed. Will it continue to be a distraction?
