Make It Nine Straight for the Jays!

Ben and Brent are back discussing another Blue Jays victory! The hosts breakdown the team's ninth consecutive win, this one on the road in Chicago against the White Sox. They dive into the offence coming up big once again powered by the unlikely Joey Loperfido, who homered and drove in three runs. B&D look at what his role could be on this team, before pondering if contributions like that amplify the narrative that Toronto really is a “team of destiny” this season. The pair also look at the another strong outing by starter José Berríos and debate if he’s the Jays' true number one. Later, the duo chat about the video Masai Ujiri put out yesterday to Toronto and ask if this closes the door on his era in the city. The pair close by discussing the impact that Mitch Marner’s departure could have on Auston Matthews’ mindset.
