Leafs Not Panicking + Blue Jays Offseason Priorities

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning open Thursday’s show by breaking down the Toronto Maple Leafs’ response to their loss against the Boston Bruins, noting the calm within the team and the message from Craig Berube. They discuss Joseph Woll’s return with the Marlies and what it could mean for his NHL comeback, as well as the importance of tonight’s game for Anthony Stolarz to prove himself as the number one goalie. The pair also touch on Auston Matthews’ potential absence and whether Easton Cowan could get another NHL opportunity. After the break, they take a closer look at why Shane Bieber chose to opt into his deal, before examining the Blue Jays’ offseason priorities with a focus on how the rotation and bullpen might shape up for next season. They close the show by talking about the Tkachuk brothers launching a new podcast and how it might compare to the Kelce brothers’ New Heights pod.
