Leafs Big Picture, Jays Valdez Interest & Raptors Deadline Priorities

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning open the second hour by reacting to Craig Berube’s comments on how his team is positioned heading into the trade deadline. They debate the Maple Leafs’ approach to the post-Olympic stretch including selling scenarios, pending UFAs, goaltending confidence, and expectations for players like Anthony Stolarz and Matthew Knies after the layoff. They then shift to Blue Jays rumors involving Framber Valdez and envision what adding pitching depth could mean for the rotation. After the break, Raptors play-by-play voice Eric Smith (25:00) joins the guys to break down the Raptors’ deadline plans, roster priorities, Jakob Poeltl’s injury, Darko Rajaković’s coaching performance, and the impact of the James Harden trade.
