Leafs at the Olympic Break + Super Bowl Tee Up

Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning wrap up Wednesday by chatting with Sportsnet NHL analyst David Amber! They discuss their relief over Sidney Crosby’s health, excitement for the upcoming Olympics, and what wearing the Canadian jersey means for Connor McDavid. Is there added pressure for the team? They also consider whether McDavid’s openness contrasts with Auston Matthews’ style and what that reveals. Following the Leafs' three-game winning streak, they debate potential moves at the trade deadline. Later, they hear from Paul Maurice about the Panthers' status in the Eastern Conference. After the break, ESPN NFL analyst Herm Edwards (27:08) joins to preview the Super Bowl, discussing expectations for the Patriots and Seahawks and the impact of the halftime show. Ben and Brent share their initial thoughts on the game and the possibility of another Patriots Super Bowl.
