HR Derby & MLB Conspiracies

Brent Gunning returns to the host's chair alongside Daniele Franceschi to chat about the MLB All-Star festivities and Home Run Derby last night. They discuss this year’s field in the derby, if it was lacking some star potential, and which competitors could take that next step to superstardom. They focus on the Mariners’ Cal Raleigh, who ended up winning the event, and how the man now known as ‘Big Dumper’ was seemingly showcased. B&D also look into Brent Rooker's comments that hinted at a bit of conspiracy and unfair play against him. The duo then get into the state of Major League Baseball and competitive balance after Rob Manfred's comments, with thoughts on the Pirates and the future of Paul Skenes. The hour ends with a 'Golf Report' looking at the return of The Open to Portrush.
