Evaluating Players' DNA

Ben and Brent dive deeper into Maple Leafs’ GM Brad Treliving's press conference yesterday and his claim that change is needed within the team’s DNA. The hosts welcome Sportsnet’s own Jason Bukala for his assessment on what options are available to Toronto this offseason. The former NHL Director of Amateur Scouting tells some tales about evaluating hockey players coming into the draft and trying to identify if they have “it”. The founder of the Pro Hockey Group also talks about being in the boardroom of an organization when everything is on the table. To close out the week, B&B bring on MLB.com’s Keegan Matheson (28:05) for a chat about "The Franchise: Toronto Blue Jays” (also the title of his new book). The trio talk about the team's explosion of offence at home last night after a dreadful road trip at the plate, before looking into who needs to step up for this lineup to take the next step and how close they are.
