Bo's Future in Toronto + Fans' Jays Connection

Ben and Brent continue the Blue Jays talk into their second hour Tuesday. The hosts focus in on Bo Bichette, who yesterday sets the franchise record for consecutive at-bats with a hit, and debate if he’s finally returned to form. They discuss if his hitting success is sustainable and if the organization should be trying to sign him long-term. B&B compare his career arc to that of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and what range a contract extension for him would look like. Next, the a.m. boys check in with SN590’s own Sam McKee (23:50), who made the trek to Detroit to watch the Jays play the Tigers over the weekend. The trio discuss his experience at Comerica Park, how invested fans are in this team, how it compares to other popular teams of the past, and expectations at the trade deadline. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliates.
